Research and Data Analysis

IRN’s research and analysis services answer critical questions for clients to improve program design, management, and effectiveness. Assessments, survey research, and data science inform program design, helping identify target groups, priority needs, and intervention approaches. However, along with analyses of gender and social inclusion, political economy, and cost-benefit, these tools can also stand alone or support evaluations in assessing activity results and informing programming decisions. Whether used for program design, management, or evaluation, our research and analysis are driven by tailored, focused questions to support evidence-based decision-making.

We conduct rigorous multidisciplinary research, providing a holistic insight into how projects and research deliver long-term change. Both decision-makers and program implementers are increasingly seeking the impact of their work or program in a wide range of economic, social, and environmental sectors on the target community of beneficiaries. Our research approach integrates traditional and innovative techniques to capture and generate evidence. We believe in drawing on various tools to capture diverse economic, social, and environmental impacts through qualitative and quantitative data. We deliver high-quality, practically oriented work that is client-centred and user-friendly (whether from the private, government, research, or non-government sector).

We have a team of experts with extensive experience using software packages such as STATA, SPSS, and R Statistical Software for quantitative data analysis and NVivo and ATLAS.ti for qualitative data analysis. Key service areas include.
